What is it that makes people say that one is acting his or her age or when one is being mature or not??
Is it too hard to ask for them to set aside their prejudices and actually think first before spitting out their guts?
A friend of mine said that it will eventually pass. What??! People not caring about other people’s businesses?? I don’t think so! Hell would have to freeze before that ever happens!
Well, you could say that it’s human nature but…if that’s the case… human nature sucks (in that aspect).

Charlotte said, “You’re being judgmental at the shop yesterday!”
Then Miranda rebutted, “No I wasn’t!”
“When I told you I was qiuting my job to become a full-time mom you gave me the look!” clarified Charlotte
“What look!”
“That look!”
“It’s six in the morning, I’m dripping all over the bathroom and you’re telling me that I’m judgmental!”
“Well, I have to screen the new applicants that would replace me and I need you to help me make up a choice!”
“That’s your job Charlotte, not mine! Stay behind your choice!”
“I am behind my choice! I’m behind my choice! I am! I am!” then the line went dead.

or something like that…
I really can’t remember what they were saying but in a nutshell, that scene from Sex and the City reminded me of the reason why I’m ranting right now.
Maturity is such a subjective act and people keeps on insisting their views on the topic to other people who thinks differently. Again, that makes the world f---d up!

What makes people say that they’re grown individuals? Is it because they don’t involve other people with their decisions? Is it because they choose to hide in their own misery? Is it because they don’t have their parents standing outside their doors? Or is it because…they bravely faced the fires of hell on their own and came back with a broken tooth and have grown an inch of horns a little bit of whoop-ass tail?

As a good cousin of mine said: “If you try to understand things first before you seek to be understood, then that’s a sign of maturity…I believe maturity doesn’t necessarily go with the age, it’s the fruit of life’s lessons…the essence of which that you’ll realize that reasons may not come at once, but having faith and wisdom will let you have the patience to keep on trying to understand.”

Easier said than done.
